A facilities-based telecom provider was asked to provide a “sky’s the limit” vision for what a flagship data center could look like if it incorporated giant touch-screen window clings, interactive educational kiosks, free-standing signage, and other forms of facility branding. Not knowing where to start, they asked for two facilities to be photographed and mocked up according to whatever a designer’s imagination could conceive. This mockup shows a “Before” and “After” of my vision for their mezzanine reception, which overlooks their flagship data center. Rough estimates for manufacturing and installation were also provided to the customer.
